Saltire stolen from flagpole

A saltire flag was stolen from a flagpole in Tullibody and police are appealing for information.

The 4ft by 3ft saltire was flying at full mast outside Ladywell Nursery in St Serfs Road and was taken some time between 1pm on Sunday February 28 and Tuesday March 2.

A Central Scotland Police spokeswoman said: “The theft occurred when the nursery was closed for the mid-term break. We appeal for anyone who saw anything suspicious to contact us.”
