Following the wintry weather over recent days and various road closures and incidents, Central Scotland Police can confirm there are no major ongoing problems on the road network in the force area today (Friday February 26).
The A9 was re-opened at 2.20am this morning after electricity cables which collapsed due to heavy snow were cleared.
Officers spent Thursday evening assisting many drivers on the A9 north of the Keir Roundabout at Dunblane who had become stuck.
Further snow is forecast by the Met Office and motorists are reminded to drive with caution, according to the weather and road conditions.
