Concern for missing Brightons man

Police are seeking the public’s help in tracing a man who has gone missing from his home address on January 5.
Andrew Ainsworth, 56,left his home address in Brightons around 8am to walk to Polmont Railway Station for work and never arrived.
Inspector Derek Napier, leading the search for him, said: “Andrew has not previously gone missing and given the weather conditions there is cause for concern. Extensive searches are underway of the area around his home address and other areas he is known to frequent.
“We appeal for anyone who may have seen Andrew and specifically anyone who was in the area of Polmont Station and surrounding area at time of disappearance. He was also known to walk to work along the Union Canal and anyone who may have seen him in this area is asked to contact us.”
Andrew is described as 5ft 11 inches tall, grey short hair and was wearing a blue/grey quilted jacket, blue/beige trousers, a grey scarf with red and yellow lining, a grey beannie hat and brown walking boots.
