Community Constable
Constable Greg McKenzie is the Community Officer for Bannockburn. Greg has 4 years service and previously worked as a response officer in both the Stirling and Bannockburn areas. He is also the local police liaison Officer for Bannockburn Primary and Bannockburn High Schools.
Bannockburn PACT Priorities for January/February 2012:
1. Speeding and inconsiderate parking of vehicles in and around Bannockburn Primary School at the start and end of the school day.
2. Youths causing annoyance in Milne Park Road, Bannockburn.
3. Target dangerous and anti social use of off road motor bikes in Bannockburn.
So what have we been doing for you?
1.You Said: there is a problem with vehicles driving at excessive speeds and inconsiderate parking in and around Bannockburn Primary School at the start and end of the school day.
We Did: We have been completing hand held radar and carrying our routine vehicle stops in an effort to educate and enforce the manner of driving of persons in and around the school area. This has been completed by high visibility patrols at the start and end of the school day.
Result: Hand held radar has been completed and a number of drivers have been warned regarding the speed of their driving. Drivers have also been spoken to regarding the manner in which they park their vehicles when dropping off and picking up from school. These patrols are continuing.
2.You said: Youths are causing annoyance for residents of Milnepark Road, Bannockburn by throwing stones and eggs at windows.
We Did: This issue was raised at the local community council meeting on 12/01/12. Patrols using high visibility patrol cars and also utilising unmarked vehicles have been conducted as well as regular foot patrols in the area. Stirling Community Council Wardens are also aware of this issue and patrol the area at various times.
Result: During regular patrols, a small group of teenagers were found in the area and their details noted. Patrols continue.
3.You Said: There is dangerous and anti social use of off road motor bikes in the Bannockburn area.
We Did: This issue was raised at the local community council meeting on 12/01/12. High visibility patrols of the area have been conducted on foot and patrol car. A number of teenagers known to have taken part in such activity previously have also been spoken to and warned about the illegal use of off road motor bikes.
Result: No offenders have been traced at this time however, concerted efforts will be focused on catching those responsible.

Meetings will take place on the first Thursday of each month at 7pm and will be held within the Community Cente, Bannockburn
