Drymen

Lying at the southern edge of the Queen Elizabeth Forest and looking towards Loch Lomond, Drymen is a popular resting place for walkers on the West Highland Way. The town lies within Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Surrounding communities are on the eastern shores of Loch Lomond. Popular with commuters to Glasgow, there remains a strong tradition of agriculture in the area and the annual Drymen show is a popular event.

Community Constable

Constable Tony Cummins is the local rural based police officer covering the communities of Drymen, along the shores of east Loch Lomond and Croftamie. Tony who has completed 14 years service carries out a number of community duties in the local areas.

1. Ongoing trend of Theft HB and Theft OLP in both KY09 beat and surrounding areas.

2. Visitors to East Loch Lomond - Encompassing ASB, Bylaw enforcement, C6 Clearway and Road safety.

3. Speeding through villages and built up areas - Croftamie, Drymen Main Street. Road Safety.
