Cornton

Cornton is a mainly residential area on the north side of the historic Stirling Bridge between the city of Stirling and Bridge of Allan. The area is home to HMP Cornton Vale, Scotland's only prison establishment for women.

Gary Meikle who has covered the Cornton area since January 2006 has now been joined by Gemma Kane. They will now work together and link in with Cornton Primary school and all the local community groups in the Cornton area.

PACT Priorities - February - March 2012

  1. To educate drivers regarding speed restrictions on Cornton Road and carry out enforcement action particularly around the primary school.
  2. To educate dog owners and enforce legislation in regards to dog fouling in the public spaces around the Cornton.
