Aberfoyle
Aberfoyle is at the heart of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, located at the head waters of the River Forth, and is regarded as the gateway to the Trossachs and many lochs via the Dukes Pass road. Tourism is a major economic factor and it attracts many visitors as well as hosting an outdoors festival and food festival. The surrounding area is steeped in history.
Liam Ward
Community Constable
Liam Ward is the community officer for Aberfoyle. Liam spent four years as a uniformed officer with Northern Constabulary, stationed at Portree on the Isle of Skye, prior to transferring to Central Scotland Police in 2009. He spent a year as a uniformed officer at Falkirk before taking up the position at Aberfoyle in October 2010.
PACT Priorities January - February 2012
- Targetting travelling criminals.
- Speeding and indiscriminate parking.
- Targetting the dealers.
