Community Constable

Craig,  Lesley, David and Nicola share responsibility for the 15,189 population of Boness and Blackness.

Lesley has three years Police service, much of which has been spent in the Boness area.  During this time she has built up excellent local knowledge.  Lesley has recently joined the community team and is already tackling issues which are important to you.

Craig has 5 years police service, most of which was spent working out of Maddiston Police Office covering the Braes area. Craig has previous experience as a community constable having worked in this role covering Westquarter and Redding before working briefly at Falkirk. Craig started working at Boness in January 2009.

David recently joined the team.  He has 8 years service most of which has been spent in the Boness area, where he has developed excellent local knowledge and relationships with the community.

Nicola recently joined the Boness community team, having previously worked in the Maddiston area.  Nicola has 3 years Police service, she is enthausistic about tackling the challenges her new role brings.

The team look forward to meeting with the Boness Community during their patrols and many public meetings they will be attending including the monthly community council meetings, held in the library on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.

They are also working with many of the partner agencies to tackle anti-social behaviour and other community concerns with in the Boness area.

PACT Priorities September & October 2010

1- Target anti social behaviour in town centre area including vandalism

2 - Inconsiderate use of vehicles around Deanburn Primary school.

3 - Pro active Pact -  Firework and fire related antisocial behaviour.

 Whilst these priorities have been highlighted by you as being of specific concern we will continue to deal with other issues across the town.
