Tamfourhill

The Tamfourhill area consist of the residential area between the south side of the Forth & Clyde Canal and the north side of the Union Canal. A number of small industrial units are also present within the Tamfourhill Industrial Estate.

Community Constable

Constable Moira Shand is part of a Community Team which assist in policing the area to the west and south of Falkirk town centre. This area includes Camelon, Tamfourhill, Bantaskine, Hallglen and Laurieston.

Moira is the Community Officer for the Tamfourhill area and is based at Falkirk Police Office.

The Community Team's aim is to address the needs of the local community and in conjunction with partner agencies resolve issues which may arise.

Tackling anti-social behaviour is a major part of the team's focus. Anti-social behaviour takes many forms, including acts of disorder, dishonestly or vandalism. By working closely with the community, the community team are working to ensure that those responsible for such behaviour are aware their conduct will not be tolerated.

1. Reduce speeding in the area of Tamfourhill Road, Tamfourhill by targeting those responsible and increasing Police patrols.
