Community Constables
Lauren Wotherspoon and Gordon Todd are the community officers for the Middlefield and Grahamston areas of Falkirk.
Lauren has 6 years service working as an operational officer, intelligence development officer, sexual offences liason officer and is a trained joint investigator having experience in conducting investigations in conjunction with the Social Work Department.
Gordon has 7 years service working as an operational officer in Falkirk and as part of the Force's Response Unit during the G8 Summit in 2005. Together Lauren and Gordon have a wealth of experience and knowledge about the Falkirk area which will put them in good stead as community officers for your area. Gordon is also a piper and founding member of the Force's Pipe Band which has seen success on a local, national and international front.
Lauren and Gordon carry out regular patrols of the area, including on foot, and are keen to find out about the issues that concern you. Please take the time to stop them in the street and speak with them to share your views. Only by working closely with you will they be able to identify the issues of most concern and take action to tackle them and finding lasting solutions.
If you are part of a Community Council or Residents Group and want Lauren or Gordon to be part of your meetings then get in touch. Gordon regularly attends the Stewart Road Area Action Group meetings, usually held on the 1st Thursday of the month at 7pm in Victoria Buildings on Queen Street.
Every month the issues of most concern to the community are identified and through a process called Police and Communities Together (PACT) these issues are addressed.
PACT Priorities for January 2012
1. Target those responsible for drug dealing in the Middlefield area.
2. Disrupt and deter anti-social behaviour linked to public consumption of alcohol in the Grahams Road area
If you have any concerns that you feel could be a PACT Priority as it is impacting on your Community, please raise these concerns by contacting Lauren or Gordon by telephone 01324 634212 or by using the e-mail link below.
