Paul Salmond - Hallglen and Karen Ross - Laurieston
Community Constables
Constables Paul Salmond and Karen Ross are part of a Community Team which assist in policing the area to the west and south of Falkirk town centre. This area includes Camelon, Tamfourhill, Bantaskine, Hallglen and Laurieston.
Paul is the Community Officer for the Hallglen area and Karen the Community Officer for Laurieston. They are based at Falkirk Police Office.
The Community Team's aim is to address the needs of the local community and in conjunction with partner agencies resolve issues which may arise.
Tackling anti-social behaviour is a major part of the team's focus. Anti-social behaviour takes many forms, including acts of disorder, dishonestly or vandalism. By working closely with the community, the community team are working to ensure that those responsible for such behaviour are aware their conduct will not be tolerated.

PACT Priorities January / February
1.Reduce Anti Social Behaviour in and around Nevis Place, Hallglen by increased Police patrols and targeting of those responsible.
2. Reduce Anti Social Behaviour at Parkhead Road, Glen village by increasing Police patrols and targeting those responsible.
3.Target those responsible for attempting to buy alcohol for persons under age in the Hallglen area.
4. Reduce Anti Social Behaviour at Mather Terrace, Laurieston by increasing patrols and targeting those responsible.
5. Reduce speeding at Laurieston By - pass by increased patrols , and targeting those responsible for speeding.
