Maria and Lynsey work as part of a local community team, their aim to address the needs of the local community and in conjunction with partner agencies resolve issues which may arise.
Tackling anti-social behaviour is a major part of the team's focus. Anti-social behaviour takes many forms, including acts of disorder, dishonestly or vandalism. By working closely with the community, the community team are working to ensure that those responsible for such behaviour are aware their conduct will not be tolerated.
As community officers, Maria and Lynsey target those causing anti social behaviour, drug dealing and misuse, enforcing drugs search warrants and carrying out stop and search procedures.
Maria and Lynsey are looking forward to meeting the community and its representatives.
