I am pleased to welcome you to the review of our single equalities scheme. This review covers the period November 2009 to March 2010 and represents the alignment of our commitment to report on equality and diversity issues with the financial year.

Bringing our equality and diversity reporting in line with the majority of our other business reporting requirements is an important step towards mainstreaming these commitments.

We continue to strive to build closer relationships with the diverse communities we serve and have made significant steps towards our goals in the last months.
