Recruitment

Introduction

Thank you for visiting the recruitment web pages of Central Scotland Police and thank you for your interest in joining us.

Central Scotland Police is responsible for the safety and security of a wide range of diverse communities in Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling areas. Our organisation offers equally diverse employment opportunities - whether you want to become a frontline Police Officer, a vital member of Police Staff or volunteer as a Special Constable.

Our force has established a reputation for success - the area has low recorded crime and high detection rates - so you'll be joining a team which works hard to maintain our position at the leading edge of performance and service delivery. It's also one of our priorities that we are an employer of choice and ensuring that the people who work for the Force have a wide range of development opportunities.

Shared recruitment pilot - police officer applications

Central Scotland Police, Fife Constabulary, Lothian and Borders Police and Tayside Police, are working together within a Shared Recruitment Pilot based at the Scottish Police College, Tulliallan.

However, Central Scotland Police are reviewing future recruitment and have sufficient applicants for Police Officers to meet projected future needs. Therefore, no new applications will be considered at this time. However, if circumstances change, an invitation for applications will appear on our website.

For further information, please visit the Tulliallan Police College website .

Police staff and Special Constable recruitment will continue to be carried out by Central Scotland Police.

Be aware that it is a condition of employment that all successful candidates must undergo a substance misuse test prior to an offer of employment being confirmed.
